hi,

after only hearing about sawmill creek just a few weeks ago:( i joined the sawmill creek forum today, so this is my first post. i'm looking forward to meeting everyone over the next while and i'm hoping to be able to contribute whatever i am able to with respect to woodworking info etc. :)

a couple of weeks ago, i developed a woodworking website as another hobby to keep me busy in retirement. i guess it is just as good a way as any of introducing myself - here's the url:

http://www.rickswoodworking.ca/

looks to be a lot of excellent information in the forum threads i have visited so far. i'm looking forward to exploring more over the next few days.

Welcome Rick You will like it here.

When I was in the NAVY I spent 6 months just south of you in the shipyards down in Bremerton Wa. Beautiful country up that way.

Welcome Rick. It's always nice to get new members.

Most important thing is pictures. We need pictures. If we can't see it ,then it didn't happen.

Rick,
WELCOME TO THE CREEK!! I liked your site and the VERY impressive work that you do! :) :D

The best part, however, is that you are one good lookin' dude! Frankly, I have been on this Forum for over three years and I am getting VERY tired of being the ONLY guy around here with the "classical" good looks of a "mature" Adonis!  :) Now - if I just had some WWing skills - all would be well!! :o

Seriously though, Rick, welcome and I hope that you will contribute to The Creek on a regular basis. :D :)

Welcome Rick, nice site and shop. Snug fit with great results:cool: .
Love the Island, Sailed in there a few years back. I'll have to check my tide charts a little better next time.:o Coming into the harbor with float planes landing was real interesting too.
Glad to have you in the creek.

Welcome! BC is so beautiful and and great place to live I would think. I like your web site and I see you already have Sawmill Creek listed there. You soon will wonder how you survived so long without the Creek.:)
