I just got back from Iraq and will be moving in a few weeks. I've been dying to take on some new furniture projects but due to my transient status have been unable to commit to anything substantial. So this week I took some scraps and put a marking gage together to help sate my woodworking jones. Thanks for looking.

Welcome home, Willie. That's a really nice marking guage, too. Nice work! I hope that wherever you move to will allow you the time and space to do a lot more of this excellent work!

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I am sorry about the spelling of the word gage/guage though. My reason for using gage was that when I search for them on ebay the spelling guage usually produces tools from the UK while a search using the gage spelling produces US tools. I find similiar difference when searching for mortise/mortice chisels. So I used gage. After posting I went to the dictionary and found that I was wrong. I won't let it happen again.
