Finally getting ready to cut the parts for the Pentz cyclone.
In preperation I have transfered the dimensions to Autocad and plotted out an 1/8"=1'-0" scaled version just to proactice and sort of test my copy. Here are some pics of the scaled model in paper:
I was ready to strart cutting two days ago so I decided to crank up the pneumatic shears I bought from HF but they were a disappointment. So chcucked them and went and bought an electric shear from Northern Tools, here's my test of their performance on a peice of 22ga.

The cut is about an 1/8" wde but leaves a nice straight line.
This week end I will be cutting the full size templets and perhaps even cutting the steel!
