Oh Crap!

This is like deja vu all over again. But backwards.

Okay. I have the coast watchers standing by in their towers; got a couple of scope dopes watching the ether; a small cadre of my old SERE instructor buddies standing by to interrogate all delivery and/or freight type prisoners; and my two best security types (Archie & Marlowe) are walking post at the end of the drivew err, runway.

Any chance of slipping me the IFF code so I can give my crew advance warning of the impending DOOM.

Doom I say. Doom!

Dunno what all you old spinsters are up to, but I'm game. Lemme guess.

You're too cheap (and smart) to send me one of those baby poop mustard latherizers. You're unaware that I need a fifth of Gordon's gin every day - for medicinal purposes mind you, so it won't be that. Ahhh, got it! You're sending me some White Iron Ice Cream! Cool. I'm fresh out of that species.

The proud owner of the original Bonker, eh?
Should we rename it to Lobstah Bonkah?

You are not gonna believe this but....

While I was taking this first photo of Security Officers Archie & Marlowe checking the delivery vehicle for traces of TNT, leaking neutrons, porn, and other fun stuff, we lost all power - as did our neighbors. So...... Yup, we were DIW for about forty five minutes. Fitzgerald - Your timing is impeccable. How did you arrange for FedEx to show up just five minutes prior?

After A&M deemed the package safe for further exploratory surgery I encountered this. Certification that I am now the proud owner of ISB (Serial Number --1). This is a collector's ttem!

And here it is. Check out the special packaging material! I gotta tell ya, the finish on this thing is as smoooooooooooooooooooooooooth as the northern end of a southbound baby.

Here's a shot of the two of us with Janine. At first I thought I'd keep it out here for inspiration when I spin stuff; but then decided that it would likely get kinda beat up or used as a jamb chuck or something. So....

I determined that it deserved a better location. So here it is in its new permanent spot in my office (in view of Janine) right at home with all the other relics and mementos of my twisted life.

I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am to have this. It is tangible representation of that incredible event just seven weeks ago that all of you were a part of. I am honored and will treasure this dearly. Anyone that would like to stop by and fondle it is welcome to do so. Admission is free, but parking is $4.:D

Neighbors in Maine??
Idaho, the Maine of the northwest or midwest or ...

Yes, a first class prize Andy and much deserved, Congratulations! :D

Now you can defend the homestead against roving packs of feral
dimes, salmon gangs, and the occasional misguided moose.

Did you know tapping a table with an ISB it will keep polar bear away?
Try it. See any polar bears?:D

Karl - Yup, you can stand up now. Any blood left in your knees?

Jim - I once spent a summer in Muskogee, OK working on a labor crew at a coal burning power plant getting built. Had Vermont plates on the pickup. A co-worker (whose real first name was Two Dogs) once asked me to tell him where I was from because he didn't recognize the plate design and couldn't read. Told him, and he said, "Vermont?!? Whut state that in?" This has nothing to do with your observation, but it's a story I love. Idaho - I believe - is in West Wyoming.

David - Know what Maine and Idaho have in common besides world class bonker turners? Po-Tay-Toes!

And to all - I'm surprised that none of you have made any observations about Ken's release of (what I assume must previously have been) top secret information about the two "objects" of his affection and adoration.

Jeez Andy.............I'm not sure I want to know........I mean I'm really scared to ask what you might have dreamed up here.......I mean I'm really scared..........

I'm in Milwaukee this week. I've got to be in class in the morning. I'm going off line NOW and get some sleep. If I stay around for an answer I might not get any sleep tonight.

Congratulations to both the sender and the recipient.

Ya know, the next contest could be potato masher, Idaho or Maine style, or anything in between.
