These are a couple of recent turning projects I have managed to steal the time to do. The first is a fantasy city and I was a small part of a group who made spindles for it. A club member has people to his home to turn each week. He got this idea from a magazine and put it all together in spectacular fashion. Sorry bout the pic it is a cell phone camera. The second is a point tool that was part of a challenge my turning club put together. I'm happy with it. The handle is curly maple and it is finished with BLO. I found out that I now have to temper the steel as it was accidentally purchased annealed. I wondered why it ground so easy! Hope you like.

Managed to get the point tool uploaded.
The fantasy city will reside at my friend Carl's house.
I really had only a little to do with it but it was fun to be a part of.
