Goofin' off again

Peediddlin' around in the shop again today. Cut and turned a little maple that I got from John. Started out making a ginger jar box fro my book but things didn't go exactly as planned so I just made a little hollow form box. Lidded HF? Whatever it is. I like it except there was a check in the wood and it seems to be getting bigger. Oh well. The other things are a red cedar vase about 2 inch d. and 3 H. Spray on lacquer. Spalted maple bowl. Danish oil. I also used spray lacquer on that NE bowl I showed a couple days ago. Been havin' SOME fun while I'm laid up from work. Pretty soon it will be back to the salt mines.

Thanks for the nice words. Now I am just making a bunch of squares round. I like to make cylinders from all my square stock, make a huge mess one time. Then when I decide to make something I don't have quite as big a mess every time. I have a picture but it seems like it not letting me post it right now. I will post it later.
