Sketchup gets Googled Up

Wow, I had to post this here for the visibility. This is hopefully good news. The company which produces Sketchup @Last software was bought by Google. Now if Google makes Sketchup free like Picasso ??? :eek::D;)

Im not really a fan of buyouts, it usually means the bigger company saw something that was profitable and wanted it, but then to make it more profitable, they start cutting corners and take away from what made it profitable in the first place.


I hope this is not the case, I love sketchup, I use it to make all of my designs. Lets just hope this is a change for the better.

They seem pretty confident that this will be a good thing for the company, application and customers. I also hope that holds true as I REALLY like SketchUp...I wouldn't have invested in it if I didn't.

Well I hope so, sketchup is so fun and easy to use. And it makes making a cutlist so much simpler.
