Forgive me but these kitchen cabinet questions may keep coming for a while.
When you've got base cabinets meeting in a corner, how much clearance do you typically leave...i.e. how much face frame should show? My drawers are 1/2" overlay and i haven't picked out knob hardware yet.
case 1) drawer offset from door. seems like the drawer edge should be about 3/4" (door thickness) + 1" (door pull exposure) + 1" (safety factor) = 2 3/4". Is that about right? So the faceframe on that edge would be 3 1/4" (due to the 1/2" overlay of the drawer).
case 2) door offset from drawer. If i want to be able to open the door 90 degrees it would be 1" (drawer pull exposure) + 1" (saftey) + 3/4" (drawer face thickness) + 1/2" (door overlay) = 3 1/4" as well.
Does this seem about right?
