Hah!!! After begging and groveling, I have received my personalized and autographed copy of Rocky Mountain Woodturner with our own Ken Fitzgerald on the front cover. I have to say that there's not a heck of a lot of substance to the rest of the magazine though!:D This will be framed and have an honored spot in my shop....hopefully not behind the lathe where all the finishes splatter! :D
Thanks Ken! I'll treasure it!

Gee I wish I could get on a Woodturning cover after only turning three spindles (or was it two!). Anyway, congrats to John and Ken. That cover may be worth $50,000 on The Antique Road Show in 100 years.

Now that is really funny, nice one, you guys are sure having a lot of fun making things up like that!
If, IF it were a real mag, just thing of the fun we could have, Andy would give us articles about which finished hold up best to "Adult" ice-cream, John could give us insights on the use of lathe chips for horse bedding......
Ken could give up advanced fish bonker classes......
Oh wait, that is what we do here........... ;) :D
Cheers!

Way cool, John! :) I'll bet you feel honored today but, just wait until Ken really makes it into one of the mainstream turning mags!!! :D You'll have one-up on all of us!!! Give it a prominent place! :)

I wonder if Ken realizes he could finance his turning addiction by selling these things?

John,
When you visit Ken's turning emporium you should stop by the gift shop and treat yourself to a coffee mug. I hear they're all the rage.
