I delivered a grandfather top or hood that the spindles and door got busted up in shipping. He liked it so much he asked me to fixed his antique chair. It has a broken spindle and leg. So I brought the chair home and studied it for a while. Tonight I went out and turned the spindle for it and will do the leg tomorrow or the next day.

Looks good to me Bernie--- has anyone else noticed what time it is.
Dang-- I need to get back to bed---this getting up in the middle of the night to see what's going on is getting out of hand.

Way to go Bernie. Feels pretty good to fix that kind of stuff doesn't it?

You bet! Sometimes his spelling is terrible. Syntax lousy. Photos grainy. But those turnings? Can't complain.

Thanks for the comments. I will start the leg either tonight or tomorrow. It is about the same but just a bit bigger. The spindle was 7/8" and the leg will be 1 1/2". Hope it works. Thanks again.

Since brevity is a good thing, maybe we should just have a party.
