Hey all you Segmented Turners

I'm setting up the jigs for my disk sander and am having trouble keeping the table square. I'm using an old Jet combo 6x48 belt and 9" disk sander. Has anyone had success with this type of sander or should I go ahead and get a dedicated disk sander.

Your thoughts please.

I would get a 12" disc sander they cost between $150.00. The 12" capacity over the 9" is almost a must if you are going to sand your segmented halves and do larger diameter turnings. I also have a sanding jig for mine set using different angles. No luck for me with belt sanders, they take off more than I want and are wavy. My segmented site below.
