Does anyone know of a good bandsaw tension meter or where I could locate one?

Thanks

Try Iturra Design. They stock a tensionmeter of their own design, as well as some more expensive brands, such as Starrett. They are kind of a "bandsaw central". Iturra does not have a website, you will need to call and talk with them by phone (888-722-7078). Ask for their catalog...it is a textbook on bandsaws!

Edit....Oh, yes and welcome to SMC! It is a really nice community.

Michael.

First off. Welcome to Sawmill Creek, pleased to meet ya'
Itturra Designs sells tension meters. There isn't a website, but a google search should get you there.
A simple vernier can be used to do the same thing though. Here are a few threads that explain how.

I have the previously mentioned Iturra unit and am very pleased with it.
