Jet 2 Micron DC Bag -Cleaning?

I have an older Jet 650 dust collector. I have a two micron upper bag. How often and what techique should I use to clean it?

Hi Tim,

For the most part, shaking the bag vigourously on each start-up will dislodge any dust-cake and loose debris, however, every once in a while, turn the filter inside/out, and vacuum the inner surface with your shop vac. Having a spare filter on hand, is a great way to avoid shutting down at an inopportune time.
