I've been looking into the zillions of products out there for preserving wood. It has me confused to a point where I thought I should ask you folks at sawmill creek for advice.
The burl has been cut now for nearly 3 months, I have a lot of the spalt removed from the inside. The outside bark is mostly removed.
My concern is that if I don't apply a preservative, it'll turn grey and possibly crack.
I have a lot of sanding to do still so whatever I apply can't interfere with that. I'd like to eventually finish it with a product that will bring out the natural colour.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
