I'm looking to make an assembley table and need it to be mobile. I have seen lots of pictures online of various tables and am curious about Norm's version. Has anyone built one? Any thoughts on the design?

I have not seen that episode and looking for some feedback before buying the plans. If you've got a better design, I'm all ears.

Thanks

Dan

I built that table 2 years ago. I use it all the time. It is sturdy and easy to move and easy to make stationary. I made another frame to put under the torsion box to raise it up so I can use it as an outfeed table for my table saw. That was an afterthought and I did not have any 1/4 plywood arround, but you could just make it taller from the start if you wanted to.

I made mine a little over two years ago. I made it 4' X 4' and taller for an outfeed/assembly table. It is light weight but strong. I had casters on it at first but never moved it, so I took the casters off and used them on another project. I think it is an excellent design.
