How do you guys keep your Festool guide rails in good shape?

I had mine standing around the Dungeon in a corner for too long, I was always worried I'd drop a log on them or something

I only use them in the Dungeon, and on my worktable, so it made sense to me to keep the guide rails handy, and out of the way.............

Tucked up against the bottom of the lumber rack on the side of the concrete beam........

Worked out just fine. The Dungeon being a small space, I have to have a submariners attitude towards the use of space, I think it is serving me well.

Cheers!

I hang mine on a nail with the hole in the rail.

Good solution Stu.
My guided rails are standing in a corner.

I usually keep them in the home made box that is shown in this thread: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=8377

When it is in my shop, the box is stored on two brackets about 4 feet up from the floor on a wall.

The short ones hang on the wall on a nail. The long one is in my lumber rack.

So I guess great minds DO think alike :D

I have VERY little wall space, and once that lathe gets here..... even less....

Cheers!

My EZ rails are stored in a Browning gun case. Just right for 2 longs, 1 short, 3 clamps, 1 EZ Square. I had to buy and return a couple of cases before I found the perfect fit.
