The new parts arrived on schedule and the mustard monster is down for repair. The spindle threads were cracked and that allowed a thread to curl into the set screw hole. Lots of fun getting the face plate off the spindle so every thing could be taken apart. Now have the spindle out and waiting for some help in removing the bearings. Machine is quite well laid out and solid construction when you get into it. Much pleased. I should have some pictures of the parts later today after I find a machine shop to remove the bearings.

I'd rather push a mustard than drive a mayonnaise...:D

Well, that's good because it sounds like it just might give you the opportunity.;)

Those are some serious looking parts. I'll not be brought in to this "mustard/mayo" thing. Happy right now with my grey wire.:D
