I'm lookin' to put the final touches on my kitchen remodel job. I'm want to make a kitchen spice rack that will fit inside an existing cabinet to help organize my spicy chaos.

Does anybody know where I can buy spice bottles that are all the same size? I looked in some of my woodworking mail order catalogs with no result.

thanks in advance...
-Jeff :)

Try some of those kitchen supply houses? I built a rack that fits on the inside of a cabinet door. I just built it for the majority of the bottles we already have. We save empties of that brand to put others in.

Jeffrey, LOML picked up a set at Bed Bath & Beyond...24 bottles, but they came full of spices. Which is not all that bad since she is a great cook. I have the proof right here in front of me...and all around.

I'm going to check out Bed & Bath as recommended. As far as waste lines, I've givin' up!

Health is about balance: cholesterol=weight=blood pressure. All the same, then everything is fine.

I gave up on trying to have all the same size containers, so I built a pull-out for our spices and other similar items that fits a "whole lot" of Penzy's finest...

Our local health food store was able to order empty bottles for us. They actually had a selection to choose from.

Jeff,
Take a look at this:
www.wooddreams.net/spice_cabinet.htm

It's a little over the top, but my wife uses a lot of spices and she had them all over the kitchen. The individual shelves were made to fit the most popular bottles of spices. They can be removed and others built to accommodate a future series of bottles.;)

Jeff,
Here are a few pictures of a spice rack that I did for LOML to get rid of the clutter from the lazy susan that she used to have on the counter.

As far as the bottles, I think Lee Valley sells them for less than a buck a piece.

Here is a spice rack I made for my daughter using stainless steel containers the Lee Valley sells..http://home.earthlink.net/~us71na/spice1.jpgThey have see through lids so you can see the spices. Just don't store your bullion cubes in them, stainless doesn't play well with the salt in the bullion cubes. DAMHIKT
