Whaddya think? Ego boosters or constructive criticisms welcome.

Elm, stained then one coat of amber shellac applied and lightly sanded. Then one coat of wax to finish. The shade is mica that I got from Woodworker's Supply.

Rick,
I really, really like it. It has that Asian theme that noted architect Frank Lloyd Wright used. It looks like it could go anywhere in my home. Nice job!

Really beautiful lamp, Rick.
The warmth of the light coming through the mica complements the wood well.

I'm not sure which way it looks better, light on or off. Good job.

I like it. Especially with the light on. I like that warm glow.

Nice work Rick! Where are you going to put it? When you decide, post a piccy of it in its final resting place.
