Does anyone know where I can find some plans for an English Garden Chair? It would be used on our front porch. The porch is somewhat protected and my wife and I enjoy sitting there and reading.

I need some basic plans. I can modify them if needed.

Here are some pictures of chairs that I like. I found these on the net. I especially like the rocker.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a "Garden Chair" that Norm did on New Yankee Workshop.
A bit more primative than your pictures, but nice none the less.

A starting point perhaps?

Ralph,

I have plans for a bench that could be shortened in an AutoCAD format if you're still looking

Ralph:
I made two of those some 5 years ago. They've been out in the weather 365 days a year ever since, and still going strong. Norm built them from cypress from sunken logs. I haven't won the lottery; so can't do that. I made them from pressure treaded pine. Be sure it's dry and yo'll do well. Has to be painted, of course.
