I have a LP Gas Radiant Heater that sits ontop of a 25# tank of propane. You've seen the type looks like a mini satellite dish maybe 8" in diameter. I've had this some two years or more and just a few weeks ago had to get the tank filled for the first time. Don't know that that caused my problem but here it is: The thing lights fine heats up to keep the sensor hot - the one that shuts off gas when flame goes out. Then 15 minutes or so later I hear a "snap" or a "click" and the darn thing shuts down. It will relight right away, but shuts down again in a few minutes. I don't thing the higher pressure of a full tank has anything to do with it because there is a pressure regulator to controll that. It is hard to believe the sensor that shuts off gas on flame-out is doing it because there is a lot of heat shining on that thing when the flame shuts down. Any ideas?
