These appear to be some sort of accessories for mounting to a lathe bed, but I'm not sure, and if so, not sure for what? Anybody have any ideas? Thanks, Todd.

They do look like the bed rail clamps for a tool rest bracket. You been out back dumpster diving somewhere? Ha. I do that ocassionally, with some good finds sometimes!! :D Steve

Hi Todd;
These should be the tie down lugs for those lathes with 2 rails connecting the power head to the tailstock.
The rabitted metal part fits under the rail and the bolt goes up through the channel to hold a tool rest or steady rest or the like.
I am just making one up for the tool rest I built last week and trying to figure out how I can blow a 3/4" hole in 1-1/2" steel without making a big mess. (this to pass the bolt through)
Theres always the trip to the machine shop . :p
