Large size ice cream bowl

Inspired by Chris DiCiaccios' cherry bowl, I went into the shop and found a cherry block to turn a new bowl. This is what (turned) out;) .

About 7 1/2" X 2 3/4" Finished in Murphys Walnut oil.

Looking at it makes me think of an Andy size ice cream bowl:D .

Yup...Looks perfect for a whole container of Haagen-Dazs Coffee....With Chocolate Syrup....Maybe a strawberry on top.:)

I don't know what it is about the cherry wood, Corey. I enjoy turning it the best and just love the way it looks.

I just had a bowl of 2 scoops of Coffee, two scoops of Black Rasberry, smothered in Chocolate syrup and Whipped Cream on top. Sure would have been better in a Cherry Bowl. I gotta find someone who can make one!;)
