Rockwell/Delta Jointer

My Dad build the first house he and my Mom lived in, and they built their last house, in Brookings, OR. I got a lot of the tools my Dad used to build the house, just before he passed away. One of them was a Rockwell/Delta 4" Jointer, like the one pictured below. I hope to also restore the jointer to original condition (it's in very good shape, just dirty and some surface rust) and add it to my shop.

I've e.mailed the owner of the jointer below and asked for input from him.

I love to see the picture documentaries of tools restored. Several folks here have done just that.. Be sure to post pics! This one's pictures looks nice!

Good for you it looks like it will be a good one. I have one that looks very similar to yours except mine is 6". The stand and dust collector chute looks the same. I found out it was made in 1959. Nice start on getting your shop together!
