I took the wife to see the Pink Panther today. When we got home, I found that the Postman had left me a new tool.

It's a1" Superbar 12" long from Monster Wood Tool .com.
Talk about solid!

It's the little things.

Hi George, very nice.
How is the horizontal member attached to the support post? Is it threaded?

It is threaded, Bill and two allen screws holding the brace.

Hi George,

I have the 6" and the curved bowl rest for my mini. Randy does some awesome work huh? I believe the lathe would break before the rest.

Bill, yes they are threaded and can be interchanged just like other modular systems, except these are more solid.

Thanks George, looks very stout. I have several maid by an other fabricator that are threaded and interchangeable as well. The alignment and and additional support is brass, works quite well. Personally I prefer the rest in the round forms, when I use them, to be of the threaded style. Not so much for there interchangeability or there form but for there trueness. Nice choice.
Thanks for showing your new addition.
