Just for fun, I made a simple wooden ring for my wife for Valentine's Day. It's the thought that counts, and anyway I can't afford diamonds since I spent all the money on the laser engraver! I thought some of you in similar circumstances might like to make one too, maybe for your kids, so here's the files. Adjust ring size to suit. Superglue together - simple. Enjoy!

Dave,

I hope you got away with that!

I don't have time for the photo/file thing today but if you'd like to try making acrylic rings, use 1/4" colors. Just a donut with a flat spot,
then either use a jig to engrave on the flat spot (make the band a bit wider than yours), or engrave and cut a circle or oval from the same color 1/8" and glue on as you did on the wood one. A former employee sold quite a few of those wholesale to a little boutique in Seattle that sells cheap costume jewelry.

Being that my wife and I both golf alot, I quickly made one this morning. Just the top part and about 1.5 dia. for a Golf Ball Marker. She and her lady friends love it.

Thanks for the design.
