I recently took advantage of the Hock blade sale at Craftsmanstudio to get a blade and chipbreaker for a #4 I have that I though would benefit from it. While I was buying I figured "what the hey" why not try a block plane blade since they're all on sale. I'm using an old Miller Falls low angle block plane and I know I'm not very good at sharpening. With the Hock blade I'm getting full width full length curly shavings on end grain. Can't believe it, what a difference.
