Hello,

Turning is not my best talent in wood working, but I enjoy the lathe very much.

The other night while working a flat project I found a piece of maple square stock and made this in an hour.

I may not be Raffan, but I do like his turned boxes, they inspired me to make this little box.

It’s less than 2 inches tall and about an inch across….lots of fun!

Take care,

Neat! I would not have thought your box was that small until brought into scale with your hand

Very nice work- RR also inspires me but based on my work I think your inspiration must be a bit stronger!

Thanks for sharing~

Wow, Jim, if you call that "not my best talent," I can't wait to see your best. Looks really good, and it's good to see you post here.

Jim,

Nice little box! It kind of reminds me of an acorn.

Is that storage for your tool buying money?? Good job. Must be nice to do something like that in an hour.

You coming east the end of the week?

Great looking little box, Jim! I've also gotten into making these turned boxes, of all sizes. They're a lot of fun to do and the choice of designs is unlimited. They sell well for me, too. keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.

That sure is a cute little rascal Jim. It looks great to me...........I think the tiny turnings are some of the neatest things. Thanks for sharing the baby box with us! :D
