Got a flyer in the mail from Amazon, and double-checked it with the website. They have Bessey K-body of all sizes on sale again. Looks like pretty good prices based on the one and only time I bought K-body's from them. I just bought some 24" for $25.44. The big 98ers are $49.59. Just thought I'd give a heads-up!

I got the 7 total clamps for $127... Thanks, Jim! I did need to search a little for the correct cabinet clamp kit. I found a couple of the kits with the same description, but with VERY different prices, and from sellers other than Amazon. FYI, here is what is in my confirmation email:

Funny enough, my Bessy order from early this week arrived already - my 2 60" Bessies are here (my freebie 24" hasn't come yet). One clamp was shipped with the ends wrapped in cardboard & packing tape, with the metal in between exposed - it arrived in fine shape...

The other was shipped in a 10 foot long heavy cardboard tube (6.5" OD - 5.75" ID)! this tube was stuffed with those little air pillows for packing material, and that is with free "super saver" shipping...

...of course, as the delivery guy was dropping it off he swung the tube out of the truck and the Bessy accelerated (as only an object of Bessy like density can!) toward the far end of the tube, blasted open the end cap and skidded to a stop on the driveway in a swirl of air pillows-who, reveling in their new found freedom, quickly took to decorating the yard.

So the tube that looks like it was designed to ship a Sidewinder missile internationally resulted in a mildly scuffed Bessey, while the tape and cardboard scraps worked great....who knew?!?

Hows that for a first post...

PS- Anyone in Northern VA area need a large tube? :)

Thanks for the heads up, guys. I was kicking myself for having passed up $109 for the 24"/40" set at the WW show a few weeks ago, but this was a better deal. $10 less, no shipping and no sales tax. I ordered 2 31" and one 24" and got the 7 clamps for $127.42! WooHoo!

I ordered 2- 24", 1- 31" and 1- 40" for 76 delivered. Used the bessey24 and saveon75 coupons. Course, they delivered half the order yesterday, one came from UPS and one from Fedex. The fedex tube was empty, so now Amazon is shipping me a replacement gratis. Some fedex guy now has a new bessey k body...

I just picked up a pair of the new Jorgensen clamps that mimic the Bessey.

A few weeks ago I needed some 4 ft K body clamps and had to pay full price. I was pretty irked. Just building my shop now so didn't plan on needing that size right then. I'll have to make a running list of things nice to have and get when on sale. My usual philosophy is to only buy tools I need and will use more then once: clamps fit that bill.
