High mark for Makita

Was belt sanding today with the Makita 3 x 24 when it caught the loose sweater I was wearing. Got the sweater off but could not pull it out off the back feed roller. Thought this was going to be a major teardown to get the thing out.

Well as luck would have it, I removed the belt cover and belt and noticed the end of the roller has a socket type end there.

A few minutes later all is good. Never had that happen before. Thanks Makita.

When cabinet shops close, ( they are almost as bad as restaurants for that ) at the auction there is always half a dozen of those Makita belt sanders.
