I have a Timesaver Model 137-1HD that stopped working. I think it is the Head switch but I am having a hard time finding a replacement part for the Furnas Electric 52PA3WJU. Does anyone know where I might find one, or what a compatible part might be that's readily available? Thank you517530517531517532

Need to see the front. looks like a standard 22mm switch operator with some contact blocks. Is the problem the operator or the contact blocks?

Furnas was bought out by Siemens in 1996. I am not sure if they are still using the name or not. What does this switch do? maintained or momentary. I guess they used oil tite to keep out dust.

Thank you for your responses. The button makes the sandpaper rollers inside start turning. The one next to it (FEED) makes the conveyor belt rollers start turning. It stays out/on until you push it in/off so I think that means sustained. I apologize that I don't really know much about how the switch and contacts work, but if I had a part in front of me that looked basically the same I'm pretty sure I could trade them out succesfully... My best bet at this point is probably to try to get on the phone with Timesaver tech support and ruin their day, lol.

You need to figure out the control voltage for the correct indicator lamp inside the switch. I would guess 12, 24 or 120 volts.
I expect the terminal sets are normally open NO, normally closed NC, and one set for the lamp.
Some switches have a internal transformer to reduce control voltage to lamp volts.

Best, safest, method is to use the normally closed terminals for control switching.

I am not convinced that part number means much. I think it may just be the part number for one of three contact blocks.

From the front of then panel partly unscrew the locking ring holding the switch in. Then use calipers to measure the thread size.. I would guess 22 or 32 mm.

I have a similar machine. Are you sure that one of the whisker switches on either side of the belt is not being tripped by the belt?

Typically start stop switch arrangement is a 3 wire arrangement with the start switch being momentary normal open and the stop normally closed

Thank you so much. The belt tracking was off and it was the whisker switch.
