I'm considering buying the JessEm Mast-R-Fence and Mite-R-Slide and was wondering if they can be installed on a shaper? By the time I buy the whole setup with table top, lift, and a better router to fit it I can almost buy a shaper and then I'd have a real motor behind it instead of a router motor.
And since I'm asking what shapers should I be looking at? Down the road I want to buy a MM slider saw with the shaper built in but $10K is a little out of the question right now since I spent over $8k on my MM jointer/planer with the mortiser attachment. I would love to get a MM stand alone shaper but almost $5K is a lot. I figure when I get to the point I'm ready to get a slider I can sell the shaper.
