I am very intereseted in designing & building some rustic Adirondack
style furniture. I own some that I have purchased over the years
and after looking at it, I am confident that I could do a nice job
building some for myself. My problem? Materials. Although I have
found alot of places to buy all kinds of milled lumber,I just can't seem
to find any place that sells dried whole logs and twigs. I am mainly
looking for River Birch with the bark on. Some pine and yellow birch,
and small stock for trim work. I can harvest my own,but I want to get
started and don't want to wait 2-3 years to air dry green wood.
Anybody have any ideas????
