"Dorm Room" Media Cabinet

The son of a friend of ours called me to ask about building a media cabinet for his room out of construction lumber. I told him I had some material laying around from a project that never came to fruition and I would gift it to him. He told me what tools he had on hand . . . so I asked him to send me a line drawing with dimensions of what he wanted. I sent him back a quick Sketch Up.

He was good with it so I had him come over to my place and we ended up here at day's end.

He left a drawer from the current desk he wanted to match. I primed the piece, got some paint matched and ended up here.

The round "feet" are just 1 quart finish cans acting as elevators. They are not part of the piece.

I will let the paint harden a few days per the manufacturer's instructions and then deliver it.
