A client has become old and I've been helping him clear out his shop, and scrounging a bunch of stuff, including some tabletop leaves in poor condition of unknown, but heavy wood.

I mentioned them & he said that he got them from a second hand store and that there was a Sam Maloof brand. Sure enough, while ripping the panels back into individual (walnut of course) boards, I found the marks.

I also used the screw extractor made from a roll pin to get out some broken screws. Thanks again, Richard Coers!

You are welcome Cameron. It's a cheap tool that really works well.

I failed to get the roll pin screw extractor thread bookmarked and google is not helping me find it. I would like to see that again.

I found it & added a bookmark, Now to read about Sam Maloof.
