Bandsaw tables

I was wondering if anyone has set up their bandsaw to have a large sort of "infeed/outfeed" work surface to move large pieces around.

I would love to see diagrams or pictures.

I built a table similar to a tablesaw outfeed table. You need to control shifting weight when doing resaws of any length.

Does anyone put support on the side of the bandsaw table?

Mine is a free standing, 4 leg table, with melamine as the top surface. It is about 30" wide and 4 feet long. I made the legs adjustable in length as floors are never level.

I'm sorry Dan, do you mean actually ON the mobile base? Then that is to raise the base off of the feet and locks the wheels in place (down) for moving.

That's almost exactly what I have drawn up. It will allow the handling of much larger goods. Can "turn and twist" better with better support during cutting.

what type of operations do you really notice how helpful it is?
