Could be the bottom bumper, but I've had fairly low success repairing nail guns, particularly Senco.
A new one that shoots 2" is under $100.

welcome to offshore.
I think I paid 400.00 or some huge number in 81 for my 2" senco. No safety on it now, still works great, just aim and pull the trigger, it could take down a cessna.
I asked a dealer once about the new stuff as I knew it was not US, he said its good when it works. Sure they have worked the bugs out by now that was years ago when I saw all the new colours.

They came out with those a long time ago. I have a bunch of Senco guns and the only part I've ever had to replace is the firing seal. I have one of those but have never been in it.
I looked on ebay for a firing seal but all I found was a bunch of these. Take it apart and see if this part is split. Guns are pretty easy to work on.
