Good RAS saws have become hard to find. I have a Delta turret I have been searching for safety parts to complete the saw for two years with no luck. I’ve tried to look for a complete saw or partial just to get parts, no luck..

Are you seeing the same thing? Lack of quality RAS saws on marketplace, etc…They have disappeared…

IME, auctions are the place to find them.
I got a deal on an Omga a while back, used and a bit abused but still a deal.

By safety parts, do you mean the guards? Unless you're trying to keep it original, all manner of solutions can be fabricated to facilitate safe use.

Mainly the kickback assembly..

arent they only for ripping and not the best machiness to rip on. You can swivel the guard to come down low to just over the wood close and that helps a bit if you have to rip on them.

The kickback arm/prongs are used only for ripping. Are you really going to rip stuff with a radial arm saw? You should check Craigslist regularly. Incredible deals on RASs there.

There are old RAS on FB Marketplace in my area all the time. Sears junk, but also some nice old Dewalts and Delta's, and a few others, often for very cheap. Look on your local Marketplace; it's where stuff is these days.

If that Delta 14" RAS is your model, I am envious. That thing is a beast and I would want to restore it as well.

no not mine but Ive seen them up here for sale. Think last one on a forum. I ended up with a wadkin 14". Pay off for too many years with the Craftsman.
