I have had an Oneida 1 1/2 hp cyclone DC for 6 or 7 years and felt that it was time to replace the internal filter. Since I started using my Performax 25x2 drum sander, I have been having problems with the filter clogging up and it is a nuisance to remove it to blow it out. Oneida offers the parts to change out the unit to the newer style external filter and I opted to go this route. The flow seems to have increased at least 50% and maybe more and cleaning will be easier now. The parts went together very well and the fit of the adapter to the cyclone unit was perfect. I pop riveted it on and sealed the joints on the inside with silicone.

Notice the difference in sizes between the old filter in the lower right hand corner and the new one.

I called and they were very helpful and the stuff came very fast.
