I know there is a lot of discussion on this somewhere . . . I am getting older and my hands are complaining. Milwaukee 5626 in a 1st generation Woodpecker PRL lift in a table. With this router or others, what is your experience / advice on a Muscle Chuck?

I have a Muscle Chuck and can't figure out why I waited so long to get it. Do be aware that you'll need one or more collet reducers should you want to run 1/4" or 8 mm shank bits.

I have one in my router table ...

The router is an old Elu 177e, (now the DeWalt DW625), and runs true. Anything extending the cutting length of a shaft will expose any runnout. At the start there was a smigeon, but it is possible to balance the combination with experimentation (turning the fitting in the shaft). Mark its position if you need to remove the MC. In my router table, I am able to use long bits without vibration or loss of smoothness when performing.

Ditto, I wish I had bought it sooner. Muscle Chuck makes several versions depending on router make and model. Do your homework before ordering.
