I'm considering ordering some cherry and mahogony (100 bf each) from a couple of mail order suppliers. Even with shipping costs, it is considerably cheaper than buying locally here on the west coast. Have any of you had experience with Steve Wall Lumber Co. or the Internet Lumber Co? My only concern is not seeing the wood before I purchase it.
Thanks

Joe,
You won't be disapointed with anything from Steve Wall. I've been there twice in the last three weeks. They have great quality which comes from grading it well and great people.

This recent thread on Wall Lumber speaks for itself.

Joe, if you are near Sacrameto. Go see Cal Hardwood and Auburn Hardwood, both are in Aurburn CA. Cal Hardwwod (530-888-8191 Citka) is a small mill and easy to work with. Give them my name and they will be sure to raise your prices...;)

Joe, many people have used Curly Woods and have had good things to say about them. The owner Michael Mastin is one of our SMC members, and has been good to our forum! I'm sure you will get a lot of good advice with this one Joe. Good luck!
