Quick Action Vise Question

I need to source some quick aciton vises for the new teaching studio, and am thinking of the small Lee Valley vise. Does anyone have any experience with this unit?

I have the Record vise that is close to the Lee Valley. Keep in mind you will most likely use 3/4" jaw liners and the small vise is now down to only 6 1/2" opening. I realize when buying in quatities, costs add up, but it looks like the medium is a much better vise.
