Children’s Wagon Restoration

Made this 28 years ago, before I had a table saw, just a few hand tools.

A 9 year old decided to ride it down a hill standing up holding the handle. Did not go well.
Had to repair the whole tow forks and handle retention mechanism.

Re-finished the whole thing. Needs four new cotter pins for the wheels then it’s ready for the next generation.

Great wagon and great story.

The toys we made for our children (and grandchildren) are now getting repaired for our grandchildren (or great-grandchildren).
