Well I started this little box, been fighting cracks and lost!:( I'm glad I did this and it didn't scare me too bad;) I guess I can still use the bottom for a paper clip holder of sumthin. It was fun but the crack won.:eek:

Well Jim, sorry to hear that. That was a cool looking piece of wood, looks spalted? Like you said, you got the bottom to mess with!

It is spalted maple, good eye Corey. Very nice wood. But it really has an odor. Must of been in Johns live stock pen with one of his horses when it grew:)

Again with the horses!:eek: I think you did pretty good Jim. Maybe I should take a picture of all my cracked and broken pieces. I'll need a wide angle lens though.:rolleyes:
