Out of curiousity, I was searching for used edgebanders and a few came up for less than $2k. A Tooltech 505c and Adwood / Cehisa EP-2S. the Tooltech looks nicer. But the EP-2S seems to have a proven track record even though it looks pretty bare bones.
Does anyone have thoughts on machines in this range? They are be definition going to be really simple. They are both hot glue.
The Tooltech trims the excess width off the edgebanding which is nice. The EP-2S doesn't do that (from what I can tell). I wouldn't have a LOT of edgebanding work, but I could have enough that I don't want to be using an iron..
