Funahiro is arguably the best woodworking bladesmith alive (and one of the best to ever live). This is a very rare set. I have lightly used these chisels and truly adore them. Honestly, I couldn’t imagine better. To my knowledge, he built 2 sets of these, both for Kezurou-Kai. One set sold and the other was held. I purchased the second set.
The handles are Japanese Wenge. These are a national treasure. I am selling them to free up money for other things. I know the price is high, but it is significantly less than they were purchased for. Price $4,200.
