I promised some pictures of some of my projects. This is a fireplace surround w/ cabinets and bench I did when I remodeled the basement in my old house.

Very Nice!!! ONe question the doors that have the strip of glass on the top. Is this for your components and is the glass so that the romote will work through that glass? IS that all it takes for the romote signal to get through?

Project was fun. Finish is about 3 coats of Deft Poly Satin finish. The stereo components are on the left, thus the glass, the right side is just to match. I have the subwoofer in the bench on the left, that ius speaker cloth covering the 2 panels in the bench. Next project is a similar unit in our new house, but with cherry and slate. I like natural finish, no stain.:cool:
