Hi all,

I am reaching out for an assist if possible. My 2002 Laguna 18 (Italian) does not have the resaw capacity that I need for a few cuts on some spalted maple. If pressed, I can split them and reglue but would sure like to avoid if possible. I have 2-3 cuts needed on a 13" board. Unfortunately, with my ceramic guides, I only have about 9.5" capacity. Which sucks because I've got the blade tuned really well and am getting really clean cuts.

I'm in the Katy area. Is there anyone nearby with a well powered saw that has 13" resaw capacity and blade that would be willing to give me an assist?

Thanks in advance!
Steve

I took the table and upper guide assembly off my Centauro 600 once to make a wide resaw. I used roller stands fore and aft to support the heavy board. It worked fine, but that was with a saw that it didn't make much difference to with a 1" blade.
