I just saw this offering from SawStop in my email
https://www.sawstop.com/product/revolution-miter-gauge/
"A washer at the front end of the miter bar fits into 3/8” x 3/4” T-shaped miter slots to keep the miter gauge level when the head is pulled off the table for wide crosscuts. This washer can also be removed for use in non-T-shaped miter slots."

Should say, for any cut wider than about 2"
There is so much tool behind the fence, it's almost unusable. Half the miter bar will be hanging off the saw for all but the smallest cut.

This is just as bad as the Incra 3000
https://www.incrementaltools.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=MITER3000-SE

Most cabinet saw tops are only 27" (newer Unisaws a a little bigger)
You only get about 12-13 inches in front of the blade.
I think I need to design my own

I use my stock Delta when I have to use a miter gauge, but with an accurate miter saw set up or a crosscut sled, mine generally just gathers dust.

One way around this is to make or buy an infeed table. 509771 This one I made a few years ago and here is a video on one you can buy. If you search "table saw infeed table" you can find several variations on this to make or buy.
