Hollow Chisel Recomendation for Felder FD250

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has a good source/recomendation for "quality" hollow chisels to work with the Felder 250 with the hollow chisel mortising attachment. It has a shank bore diameter of 22.6mm. I was able to find a discussion about options for chisels/cutters when it is operating as a slot mortiser, but not as a hollow chisel mortiser.

These apear to be Nakahasi bits, a very good (best) brand you can get.

Whenever I sold an FD-250 with the hollow-chisel snout, the client usually just bought bits from Felder as well. You could probably get a good deal through their e-shop, with holiday promos coming up.

Note that the Nakahasi (also called Starr??) sets come with a long drill bit that needs to be cut to the correct length for different mortisers. It's nice that you can get the length exactly right so it goes all the way home in the chuck and can't slide up over time and damage the chisel.
